Midwest Bloodhound Rescue, Inc. In Memory |

When a pet dies, a family member dies.
When the time is right, those memories will bring smiles, not tears.
Where do all the pets go after they die?
They wait for you and I at Rainbow Bridge. |

| A Note from MBR's Executive Director: Someone once accused me and MBR of "bragging" about all the dogs it has "killed" on this page. We are not bragging, nor are we justifying. This page honors the dogs we were blessed to know, who, for one reason or another, needed to be euthanized or passed away peacefully. This page also honors those who were our own personal pets, bloodhound or not. We must never forget that dogs, especially bloodhounds, can be incredibly powerful. Thanks to bad breeding and/or wrongful upbringing, some bloodhounds can also be very dangerous. MBR bears the heavy responsibility to protect those who may adopt a bloodhound from us. MBR takes this responsibility very seriously - each of our bloodhounds were given every opportunity to heal or learn new behavior. They came from many different backgrounds and were laid to rest for many different reasons. It is because of our love for the breed and our sorrow for lives cut short that we want their memories to continue on.... |
